Water recycling shower

CINTEP’s water recycling shower is not just a shower head, it’s a shower system. It uses fresh drinking water to start every shower. The system never uses waste water from anywhere else.

Water is never stored and re-used later
You never get some-one else's water

Saves 70% water
Saves 70% energy

Same flow rate and shower enjoyment
Great flow, great control, great design

The system works by capturing shower water and pumping it through a recycling system. Instead of the water going down the drain, it goes through three separate types of filters, is then diluted with 30% fresh drinking water and goes through a pasteurisation system (yes the same process used to make milk safe to drink) before being re-used in your shower. When the shower is turned off, the water is completely drained so the next person to use the shower gets 100% fresh drinking water to start their shower.

We cut the environmental impact and the cost of showering, not the enjoyment.

Renovating or building a new home?

Whether you’re renovating your bathroom, adding a new bathroom, or building a new house, the Water Recycling Shower will work for you. It can be used with shower trays, over a bath or in wet-rooms, in single or multi-story homes.

Do I have to be renovating to get one?

If your bathroom doesn’t need renovating and you would like to install the CINTEP Shower System, you can. The system needs to be installed in the wall cavity and connected to the drainage, so you will need to do some repairs to return the bathroom to it’s existing state. However, if you want to reduce your carbon footprint and save money on power, this is an option.

Notes: Annual savings are calculated compared to a conventional shower of 9 litres per minute operating in the same conditions as CINTEP’s shower. The conventional shower is assumed to be supplied with hot water by an electric storage hot water system with distribution and storage losses of 22.5%.

How is it installed?

The shower only requires a connection to your cold water system and to power. No hot water connection is required.

The CINTEP system includes:

  • The main shower unit / recycling system
  • A connection plug to the cold water supply
  • Connecting hoses
  • Control unit
  • Remote control

You can supply your own shower-head, or you can purchase our contemporary Shower Tower. If you supply your own shower-head, it must have a flow-rate of 9 litres per minute, or more.

With no reduction in the quality of your shower experience, we can cut water consumption and energy consumption by 70% and running costs by 70% compared to a conventional shower.

70% less water. 70% less energy. No compromise on shower quality.
